Description

Manage and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments on Linux servers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, including setup and replication management.
• Perform backup and recovery operations using RMAN and pg_dump.
• Optimize performance through indexing, query tuning, and analysis.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support automation tasks.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on DBA experience with both Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Strong command over SQL, PL/SQL, and PL/pgSQL.
• Proficiency with RMAN, pgAdmin, psql, and AWR.
• Experience with Shell Scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios or Zabbix.
• B.Tech degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Fintech, Telecom, or high-transaction environments.
• Exposure to Cloud Databases like AWS RDS for PostgreSQL or Oracle Cloud.
