Description

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Oracle APEX Developer role based in Bengaluru. The Oracle APEX Developer will design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications, including user interfaces, database objects, and business logic. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and implementing secure, scalable solutions that align with enterprise standards. The role involves optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code, troubleshooting application and database issues, and performing performance tuning and bug fixing. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, prepare technical documentation, and support deployment and maintenance activities for production systems.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX and Oracle Database development
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning
• Skills in designing relational database schemas, stored procedures, triggers, and packages
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST/Web Services integration
• Understanding of secure coding practices, role-based access, and application security in Oracle APEX
• Experience in requirement analysis, technical design, and documentation for enterprise applications
• Ability to debug complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement stable fixes
• Familiarity with SDLC processes, version control tools, and Agile or iterative development methodologies
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities for working with technical and business stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Exposure to AI-driven, data-centric, or enterprise-grade environments is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms (such as Oracle Cloud or Azure)
