Oracle APEX Developer

You will develop and maintain complex applications using the Oracle APEX framework.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize Oracle APEX applications using HTML, CSS, and the Universal Theme to meet UI requirements.
• Develop and consume REST APIs using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
• Design and optimize Oracle database structures, including SQL, PL/SQL, Views, and Materialized Views.
• Remodel legacy data models, specifically for Human Resource Management Systems.
• Integrate CSS classes and JavaScript events within SQL to meet specific functional requirements.
• Analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development, specifically with version 21.3 or above.
• Expertise in Oracle Database design and development using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and the APEX Universal Theme.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript libraries including jQuery and Oracle JET.
• Strong understanding of XML, JSON, and DOM structures.
• Experience working with Oracle 11g, 12c, or higher databases.
• Proven ability to develop and consume REST APIs via ORDS.
• Knowledge of Application Express APIs and PL/SQL coding standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, and OBIEE reporting tools.
• Knowledge of database migration, performance tuning, and optimization in 12c environments.
• Experience in APEX Custom Plug-in development and database installation/troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ERWIN, ETL processes, and data migration workflows.
