Description

Build and maintain enterprise applications using modern Oracle APEX versions within a large-scale development environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop APEX applications in collaborative teams, following established architecture standards and coding best practices.
• Build modern user interfaces using JavaScript libraries, HTML, and CSS to customize application behavior and look and feel.
• Engineer backend database components including packages, procedures, functions, materialized views, and complex SQL queries.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Server Administrators to investigate and resolve infrastructure and application deployment issues.
• Design and remodel legacy data models, specifically for Human Resource Management Systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an APEX Developer.
• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle APEX, specifically version 21.3 or higher.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Database design and development using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, or higher databases.
• Deep understanding of APEX Universal Theme, HTML, and CSS customization.
• Extensive experience with JavaScript libraries, specifically jQuery and Oracle JET.
• Proficiency in developing and consuming REST APIs using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
• Solid understanding of XML, JSON, and DOM structures.
• Experience managing Views, Materialized Views, and DB links.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating CSS classes and JavaScript events within SQL and application processes.
