About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Oracle APEX. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle Database, SQL optimization, and REST API integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle APEX.
• Develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Build responsive and user-friendly APEX applications.
• Create interactive reports, dashboards, forms, and workflows.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
• Integrate Oracle APEX applications with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party systems.
• Develop and consume RESTful Web Services.
• Troubleshoot application and database issues.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Follow coding standards, documentation, and version control best practices.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle APEX (19.x/21.x/22.x/23.x).
• Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle Database (12c/19c/21c).
• Hands-on experience in REST API integration.
• Strong understanding of database design and normalization.
• Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and jQuery for APEX customization.
• Experience with Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Dynamic Actions, LOVs, Collections, and Authentication Schemes.
• Familiarity with Oracle Forms migration to APEX is an added advantage.
• Experience with Git or other version control tools.

Good to Have

• Oracle APEX Certification.
• Knowledge of Oracle ORDS and WebLogic.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Understanding of CI/CD deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
