Description

You will own the design, development, and support of Oracle APEX applications integrated with Oracle EBS.

Responsibilities

• Act as Level-3 escalation for complex production issues across APEX, PL/SQL, and EBS components.
• Design and implement minor to medium enhancements and configuration changes for adaptive maintenance.
• Develop and maintain integrations between APEX and Oracle EBS using PL/SQL APIs and web services.
• Perform impact analysis and prepare technical design documents for all enhancements and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and DBA teams, providing technical guidance to L1/L2 support.

Required Skills

• 8–12+ years overall Oracle experience, with 6–8+ years hands-on Oracle APEX.
• Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and performance tuning.
• Solid, hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.x.
• Proven experience integrating APEX with EBS via custom APIs, interfaces, or reporting.
• Strong understanding of the EBS security model (e.g., FND_USER, responsibilities).
• Experience with REST/SOAP Web Services and handling JSON/XML in PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux basics and deployment support.
• Experience working in a 24x7 or enterprise support environment.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles.
