Description

You will design, develop, and manage API endpoints to ensure seamless communication between software systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage API endpoints, defining data formats using JSON and XML.
• Implement API security policies including OAuth 2.0, SAML, encryption, and threat protection against SQL injection and XSS.
• Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP-based web services using Oracle API Gateway.
• Collaborate with architects and business analysts to translate requirements into technical API designs.
• Manage API Gateway operations and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in API development.
• Proficiency with JSON and XML data formats.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0 and SAML authentication protocols.
• Strong understanding of SQL.
• Experience developing RESTful web services.
• Experience developing SOAP-based web services.
• Ability to implement authorization and encryption standards.
• Knowledge of threat protection techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.
