Description

You will provide technical leadership for the university's enterprise resource system and manage the integration of third-party systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage programming projects using established project management practices, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Plan and manage application maintenance and development for the Ellucian Banner system and related third-party software.
• Define system scopes, establish project estimates, and prepare detailed technical specifications.
• Serve as Application System Administrator for Oracle databases across pre-production, test, development, and production environments.
• Perform software administration, including installations, upgrades, patches, and maintenance for database and Banner application software.
• Lead programming staff by scheduling work assignments and providing instruction to resolve complex technical problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of programming experience.
• 5+ years of experience with business application development using Oracle, UNIX, Solaris, or Java.
• 5+ years of experience developing Oracle PL/SQL code.
• 5+ years of experience with Ellucian Banner Enterprise Resource System and functional areas like HR, Finance, Student, and Advancement.
• 5+ years of experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting, PowerShell, JSON, XML, REST, C#, PHP, and JavaScript.
• 5+ years of experience managing or supporting Banner ancillary products such as Workflow, FormFusion/IntelleCheck, e-Print, or Automic (UC4).
• 5+ years of experience as a project manager, team lead, or task lead.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Java, Oracle, or Oracle PL/SQL Application Developer.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working in a higher education environment.
