Description

You will manage Oracle databases through the entire product lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day availability of all database servers in a 24/7 environment.
• Manage the full database lifecycle including backups, incident management, and performance tuning.
• Implement and maintain system monitoring to ensure high performance and availability.
• Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery plans.
• Identify and implement automatable activities to improve operational efficiency.
• Define and enhance quality assurance and quality control processes to reduce production incidents.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA.
• Extensive experience in administration and management of Oracle EBS R12.
• Hands-on experience managing Oracle R12.2 and Oracle Database 19C.
• Expertise in Oracle 19C core DBA tasks and performance tuning.
• Experience with WebLogic Administration and Oracle OBIEE WL Admin.
• Proficiency in Oracle WCI Administration and Oracle Single Sign On (SSO).
• Experience managing day-to-day AWS infrastructure for Oracle Databases.
• Hands-on experience upgrading R12 applications to major release versions.
• Experience with Oracle iRec (iReceivables).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services including EC2 and S3.
• Linux Administration skills and experience remediating server vulnerabilities.
• Active Cloud Certification and experience with Google Platform services like Cloud SQL and Big Query.
