Description

Position Summary
STAFFXPERT is  seeking an experienced Oracle Applications DBA to manage, support, upgrade, patch, monitor, and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Oracle EBS administration, database performance tuning, cloning, patching, backup/recovery, and production support.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments.
Perform patching, upgrades, cloning, and environment refreshes across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments.
Administer and support Oracle Databases, including backup, recovery, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Manage Oracle WebLogic, Concurrent Managers, Forms, Reports, Workflow, and application services.
Monitor database and application performance and proactively resolve issues.
Perform RMAN backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability support.
Manage users, roles, privileges, security, and access controls.
Troubleshoot production issues related to database, application tier, interfaces, and batch jobs.
Support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and Linux/Unix environments.
Work with development and functional teams during releases, deployments, and production migrations.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations.
Participate in on-call and production support activities as required.


Required Skills
Strong experience as an Oracle Apps DBA / Oracle EBS DBA.
Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 / R12.2.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c/19c or later.
Experience with ADOP, AutoConfig, patching, cloning, and upgrades.
Strong experience with RMAN, RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and performance tuning.
Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Concurrent Manager, Workflow, Forms, and Reports.
Strong Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting skills.
Experience supporting high-availability and production Oracle environments.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.


Preferred Skills
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience.
Experience migrating Oracle EBS or databases to cloud environments.
Experience with automation, monitoring tools, and DevOps practices.
Relevant Oracle certifications are a plus
