Description

Manage Oracle E-Business Suite environments within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including migration from on-premises Solaris to OCI.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Oracle EBS 12.2 and Oracle Database 19c from Solaris to OCI.
• Perform application cloning using Rapid Clone or manual methods across multi-node and single-node architectures.
• Administer EBS patching cycles, including pre-patch analysis and applying PSU, one-off, and family packs.
• Troubleshoot EBS components including Apache, oacore, oafm, oc4j, and Forms services.
• Automate routine jobs using shell scripts, crontab, and Autosys.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Oracle EBS and Database administration.
• Proven expertise in migrating EBS 12.2 and Oracle Database 19c to OCI.
• Hands-on experience with OCI services: Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, and Networking.
• Proficiency with Oracle EBS R12 architecture and utilities (adadmin, adpatch, adconfig).
• Experience with automation tools including Ansible and Terraform.
• Technical knowledge of Oracle EBS 12.2, Apache, oacore, oafm, and oc4j.
• Strong background in backup, recovery, and security auditing within OCI.
• Experience managing SSL/TLS certificate imports and SSO integration.

Preferred Skills

• OCI certification (Architect or Infrastructure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
