Description

You will manage and maintain Esri and Schneider-based GIS environments, databases, and geospatial data models.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Esri ArcGIS Enterprise (10.6.1) environments and manage planned migrations.
• Monitor and optimize performance for all ArcGIS and ArcFM environments.
• Manage data synchronization, replication, and resolve sync job failures.
• Perform SDE compress, rebuild indexes, and execute database re-orgs after editing.
• Support build deployments, maintain configuration stores, and manage Linux/Windows server requests.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration and backend database management.
• Expertise in Oracle database design and advanced SQL development using Oracle SQL Developer.
• 3+ years of experience creating stored procedures in SQL.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and upgrading GIS applications (ArcSDE, ArcFM, ArcIMS) on Windows and Unix.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Spatial, MySQL, DB2, and SQL Server.
• Ability to design and manage SDE-Oracle database storage following vendor best practices.
• Scripting and scheduling shell and batch scripts for SDE monitoring.
• Familiarity with Oracle Transparent Application Failover (TAF) for SDE-Database load balancing.
• Experience with FlexLM single-user and multi-user license file installation and updates.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ArcGIS Server and Portal.
• Familiarity with Oracle Utilities.
