Description

You will administer and maintain Oracle backup solutions, focusing on migration, monitoring, and automation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document the full backup migration solution.
• Integrate monitoring and reporting using Splunk.
• Automate updates to ServiceNow CMDB.
• Configure offsite backup and replication setups.
• Create comprehensive project documentation and training materials.

Required Skills

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Cohesity backup solutions.
• Expertise setting up Oracle database backups, including Oracle Exadata.
• Proven experience integrating backup systems with Splunk for monitoring and alerting.
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB integration via API calls.
• Strong automation and programming skills using Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
• Experience configuring offsite backup to cloud and tape storage.
• Knowledge of data center replication and disaster recovery strategies.
• Familiarity with backup immutability concepts for Oracle databases.
