Description

You will lead the migration of legacy systems to modernized cloud-based SaaS solutions, focusing on data extraction, cleansing, and system optimization within the Oracle Cerner ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead legacy-to-SaaS migration efforts, including data assessment, extraction, cleansing, and mapping.
• Develop scripts to extract data from Oracle Cerner Millennium databases in HL7 format using CCL.
• Execute migration testing by creating unit test scripts, managing scenarios, and debugging issues.
• Analyze user requirements and operational procedures to automate processes or improve system functionality.
• Document process flows, system specifications, and technical requirements for stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database management, workflows, and data migration within healthcare EHR systems.
• 8+ years of experience with Oracle Cerner Millennium databases.
• 8+ years of experience using Cerner Command Language (CCL) for data extraction scripting.
• 8+ years of experience in the EHR application domain, including workflow analysis and design.
• 8+ years of experience in business analysis and evaluating user requirements.
• 8+ years of experience documenting process flows and preparing data input/output specifications.
• Proven ability to resolve complex data-related issues using logical problem-solving.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for technical presentations and stakeholder updates.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing post-migration support, including end-user training and system performance optimization.
