You will design, execute, and support IT cloud solutions within complex database environments, focusing on migration and infrastructure optimization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage database migrations from Oracle to PostgreSQL in high-availability deployments.
• Migrate Oracle RAC/Exadata infrastructure to public cloud environments.
• Manage compute components including CPU, memory, and storage through AWS Cloud virtualization.
• Optimize database performance using benchmark techniques, sharding, partitioning, and scaling methods.
• Operate as a platform engineer to support cloud infrastructure and CI/CD methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT cloud solution design and support.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Proven expertise migrating Oracle RAC/Exadata to the cloud.
• Experience managing infrastructure within AWS Cloud.
• Deep understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS concepts.
• Proficiency in database performance tuning, bottleneck identification, and system optimization.
• Experience with data storage systems and capacity planning.
• Practical knowledge of Agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile/tablet platform development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database shard and horizontal/vertical scaling.
