Description

You will design scalable, secure, multi- and hybrid-cloud architectures, primarily for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), alongside AWS and Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud architecture standards, governance models, and best practices for the OCI platform.
• Partner with business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions.
• Design high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-cloud architectures for hybrid integrations and migration initiatives.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code capabilities using Terraform and Ansible.
• Provide guidance to engineering teams and supplement skill sets where needed.

Required Skills

• 6–9 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI); OCI certification is strongly preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in hybrid infrastructure, cloud networking, and Cloud DevOps/Automation.
• Deep expertise in Oracle database technologies including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Golden Gate, and RMAN.
• Experience with Exadata, ExaCC, ExaDB-D, Exascale, DBaaS, and OEM.
• Proficiency in cloud servers, configuration, patching, network/VLAN setup, backups, and system monitoring.
• Understanding of cloud security (2–3 years) and Cloud FinOps (1–2 years).
• Ability to create architecture documentation using Visio or Abacus.

Preferred Skills

• 1–2 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Linux or network administrator background.
