Description

You will design, implement, and support highly distributed mission-critical applications across data center and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end database migrations from on-premises to cloud infrastructure, including virtual network design, routing, and security groups.
• Architect technical solutions and lead Proof of Concept engagements and architectural design sessions.
• Manage database upgrades across versions 9i, 10g, 11g, 12c, 18c, and 19c on various platforms.
• Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to implement efficient cloud-based solutions.
• Present technical platform benefits and service solutions to executive audiences.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience architecting, designing, and supporting highly distributed applications.
• Extensive experience with at least one public cloud provider, specifically Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Deep expertise in Oracle Database Administration, including production support and cross-platform migration.
• Proficiency with Oracle DBA tasks and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience with MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Proven experience in re-platforming and migrating mission-critical business applications to the cloud.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps tools including GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of Oracle Exadata Cloud Machine, including administration, patching, and performance tuning.
• Public Cloud Oracle Technical certification.
