Description

You will administer and manage the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage OCI compute, storage, networking services, and platform resources.
• Optimize Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) databases, including provisioning, patching, tuning, and backup/recovery.
• Execute environment refresh procedures from production to lower environments to ensure consistency.
• Implement resource tagging, quota management, and cost tracking within OCI.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues related to performance, connectivity, or platform services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing OCI compute, storage, and networking services.
• In-depth knowledge of OCI architecture, including tenancy, compartments, and identity domains.
• Proven experience managing and tuning ATP databases.
• Strong proficiency with VCNs, subnets, gateways, routing tables, and load balancers.
• Experience with OCI observability tools (Logging, Monitoring, Audit, Events).
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and patch management processes.
• Experience with backup/recovery validation and disaster recovery planning.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud or Oracle Integration Cloud operations.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.
