Description

You will manage, secure, and automate Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, focusing on networking, identity, and reliable provisioning.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain OCI components including compute, storage, load balancers, and networking (VCNs, subnets, gateways).
• Design and deploy multi-cloud networking, managing egress/workload VCNs, firewalls, and AWS transit connectivity.
• Implement OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, compartments, dynamic groups, and federation.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines using Terraform Cloud, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Operate monitoring and reliability stacks using Datadog, OCI Metrics, and PagerDuty to track SLO/SLAs.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience specifically with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Proficiency with OCI-native security services including Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Logging, and Vault.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as Teleport, Crowdstrike EDR, and Tenable.
• Orchestrate configuration and patch management at scale using Ansible Automation Platform.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash or Python for automation and monitoring.
• Solid understanding of IAM, least privilege, encryption, and system hardening.

Preferred Skills

• OCI Certified Architect or OCI Certified Security Professional.
• Experience integrating OCI with SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar.
