Description

Act as a subject matter expert for distributed caching and messaging architectures. You will design scalable solutions and lead technical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement caching solutions using Oracle Coherence, GridGain, and Redis.
• Develop scalable microservices and REST endpoints using Java and JEE frameworks.
• Manage messaging workflows using technologies like ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ.
• Integrate third-party vendor APIs and manage service discovery and load balancing.
• Lead technical decision-making and manage stakeholder expectations through effective problem-solving.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Oracle Coherence caching and messaging.
• Strong proficiency in Java 1.8 and Object-Oriented Design.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and JPA/ORM frameworks.
• Experience developing SOAP web services and RESTful microservices.
• Deep understanding of messaging concepts (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of authentication protocols including OAuth and OAuth 2.
• Proficiency with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with DevOps practices and Jenkins pipelines.
• Foundational understanding of service resiliency and load balancing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of TDD using JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with code scanning tools like SonarQube, Veracode, or Prisma Scan.
