Description

You will configure Oracle Enterprise Manager for Data Guard environments and mentor internal staff on the setup process.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and set up Oracle Enterprise Manager specifically for Oracle Data Guard environments.
• Mentor and train an internal employee through a hands-on setup process.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure the team can manage the tool independently.
• Write thorough technical documentation covering setup processes and utilization best practices.
• Resolve technical issues related to OEM and Data Guard functionality as the subject matter expert.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Oracle Consultant.
• Extensive experience with Oracle Data Guard setup and configuration.
• Direct experience configuring Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Proven ability to provide technical training and one-on-one mentorship.
• Strong technical writing skills for creating instructional documentation.
• Ability to explain complex technical processes to non-experts.
• Availability to work part-time at approximately 20 hours per week.
