Description

You will lead the design, optimization, and delivery of enterprise-scale data solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Optimize database performance and query execution to meet strict SLAs, including 2-second response times.
• Analyze execution plans and implement indexing, partitioning, and query optimization strategies.
• Oversee ETL/ELT workflows using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to ensure scalability and data quality.
• Leverage AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, DMS) for cloud-based data ingestion and storage.
• Mentor data engineers and translate complex technical decisions for stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering within enterprise environments.
• Expertise in Oracle performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing, and parallelism.
• Strong proficiency in complex SQL query writing and optimization.
• Ability to write, understand, and debug Stored Procedures and Functions.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Solid understanding of data warehouse design, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
• Experience with AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, DMS).
• Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring technical teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
