Description

You will manage and optimize Oracle database environments across the full stack.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot performance issues by identifying bottlenecks across storage, network, database, and application tiers.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL performance, including index suggestions and avoiding Cartesian products.
• Execute backup and recovery operations using RMAN.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle RAC clusters with DataGuard in Unix-like environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience troubleshooting Oracle 10g or higher.
• 7+ years of experience with RMAN for backup and recovery.
• 7+ years of experience upgrading and patching Oracle 10g or higher in Unix-like environments (AIX, Linux, Exadata).
• 7+ years of experience installing and configuring Oracle RAC clusters with DataGuard.
• 7+ years of experience working with developers on SQL performance tuning.
• 4+ years of experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13 or higher.
• 4+ years of experience with GoldenGate in Oracle environments.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle 10g or higher in IBM Cúram architecture application tiers.
• Oracle 10g or higher Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
