Description

Manage and monitor Oracle application databases across production and non-production environments in Austin, TX.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and manage assigned application databases to ensure data integrity and security.
• Analyze and resolve complex issues within Oracle 11/19c databases in development and production.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and fine-tune SQL and PL/SQL on Solaris and Linux systems.
• Support cross-functional development teams to optimize application and query performance.
• Develop tools using SQL, PL/SQL, and Linux shell scripts to support large-scale test and development environments.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience implementing and managing production and non-production databases.
• 8 years of experience with Oracle 11/19c databases.
• 8 years of experience with performance tuning, including Explain Plan and index analysis.
• 8 years of experience with Oracle internal views, built-in functions, and architecture.
• 8 years of experience with tablespace consolidation, DBMS reorg, and partition analysis.
• 5 years of experience using Erwin Modeling tool to create data models and star schemas.
• 5 years of experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Linux and Solaris operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Oracle SQL Developer.
• Experience developing DDL, DML, and shell scripts for database support.
