Description

• Strong hands-on experience withOracle Database 18c and 19c.
• Experience with IBM AIX, Linux, and Sun Solaris Unix operating systems.
• Experience applying PSU patches to Oracle databases.
• Database upgrades to Oracle 19c.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate implementation and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting multi-node Oracle RAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of Automatic Storage Management (ASM), including instance creation and troubleshooting.
• Experience upgrading and migrating large databases across data centers.
• Strong database performance tuning and bottleneck analysis skills.
• Good understanding of Oracle database architecture.
• Experience configuring and supporting third-party backup solutions such as IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM).
• Ability to support multiple application and infrastructure teams across ongoing projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with rolling upgrades in Oracle environments.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise database environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain, and administer Oracle databases.
• Apply patches and perform database upgrades.
• Plan and execute Oracle database migrations across data centers.
• Manage Oracle RAC and ASM environments.
• Implement and troubleshoot GoldenGate replication.
• Monitor database performance and resolve performance issues.
• Configure and maintain database backup solutions.
• Collaborate with application and support teams to ensure database availability and reliability
