Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and availability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Monitor database health using Oracle Enterprise Manager and respond to incidents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve L2 database issues, escalating to L3 when necessary.
• Execute and validate backups using RMAN and Data Pump.
• Analyze AWR/ASH reports and optimize SQL queries and database parameters.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience with Oracle Database.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture (11g, 12c, 19c).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with RMAN, Data Pump, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Grid Infrastructure, RAC environments, and ASM.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools, specifically Python and Shell.
• Understanding of ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.
