Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for production systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c).
• Perform database monitoring, health checks, and performance tuning activities.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations using RMAN.
• Administer Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents, outages, and service requests (L2/L3 support).

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Expertise in RMAN backup and recovery strategies.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL Server Database Administration, and Unix/Linux commands.
• Experience in database performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong background in production support and AMS environments.
• Ability to automate routine DBA activities using Shell Scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with capacity planning, storage management, and database optimization.
• Knowledge of database security, including users, roles, privileges, and auditing.
