Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle database instances across multiple versions including 11g, 12c, and 19c.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database instances.
• Manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Data Guard, and RMAN.
• Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Troubleshoot performance degradation, corruption, and outages.
• Automate administrative tasks using PL/SQL, Bash, or Perl scripts.
• Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patching with minimal downtime.
• Manage database security, including user roles, privileges, encryption, and auditing.
• Collaborate with developers to improve performance and scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle database administration.
• Proficiency with PL/SQL, Bash, and Perl for automation.
• Hands-on experience with RMAN for backup and recovery.
• Direct experience managing RAC and Data Guard.
• Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Ability to manage capacity planning, storage, and system resources.
• Degree in any graduate field.
• Availability for on-call assistance outside regular hours.
