Description

You will own the day-to-day administration of Oracle Databases (11g, 12c).

Responsibilities

• Manage database installations, configurations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Monitor database performance and conduct tuning and optimization.
• Plan and support database capacity planning, scaling, and growth.
• Design databases, create indexes, and support data modeling activities.
• Support database security, availability, and disaster recovery initiatives.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in a development or service administration role.
• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Database Administration experience.
• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and physical structure.
• Proven experience with RMAN backup and recovery.
• Proficiency with Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle RAC, and Oracle Data Guard.
• Experience managing Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle ASM.
• Familiarity with Oracle ACFS and Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
• Exposure to ITIL / ITSM / Managed Services / DevOps / SOA operational models.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field.
