Description

You will administer and manage Oracle RAC databases (19c and above) in large-scale environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases on AIX 7.x or higher.
• Manage Data Guard and Active Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Perform RMAN backup/recovery, cloning, and database refreshes using EXPDP/IMPDP.
• Execute database upgrades, patching, and migrations using ZDM and GoldenGate.
• Optimize database and application performance through SQL tuning and shell scripting.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• 4+ years of experience with Oracle 19c.
• 5+ years of expertise in Oracle RAC.
• Strong knowledge of ASM (Automatic Storage Management) and ACFS snapshot cloning.
• Proficiency in OEM 13c monitoring, alerts, and performance tracking.
• Experience with database security features: TDE, Data Redaction, VPD, and encryption.
• Strong skills in Shell scripting (UNIX/AIX) and PL/SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record in production support and troubleshooting critical issues.
