Description

You will own production database support, administration, and automation for Oracle environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage 24/7 production support, including on-call rotation and off-hours issue resolution.
• Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and backup/recovery procedures.
• Automate infrastructure components using scripting and tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
• Conduct performance tuning, SQL monitoring, and root cause analysis for complex issues.
• Drive database portfolio improvements and guide third-party support teams on governance and steady-state operations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle database versions from 9i through 26ai.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS administration.
• Strong skills in Linux Shell Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ruby).
• Experience with SAP environments is required.
• Ability to lead international teams and manage change advisory processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Manufacturing industry with knowledge of ITAR, PCI, HIPAA, or SOX compliance.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
