Description

You will manage and support Oracle database technology across enterprise data centers and distributed locations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and patch Oracle databases across multiple platforms.
• Manage application schema deployment and maintenance with application teams.
• Perform full-stack performance tuning using OEM, AWR, and OS monitoring utilities.
• Configure, monitor, and manage Data Guard switchover and failover events.
• Execute RMAN backups and point-in-time recovery using TSM/TDPO, Veeam, and ZDLRA solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle database administration.
• Proficiency with Oracle installations, patching, and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with RAC and ExaCC.
• Expertise in RMAN, TSM/TDPO, Veeam, and ZDLRA backup solutions.
• Strong SQL tuning skills using OEM and AWR.
• Experience managing Data Guard for disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of OS and DB security constructs.
• Ability to troubleshoot via Oracle technical support.

Preferred Skills

• Unix shell scripting.
