Description

You will manage enterprise Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across 11g, 12c, and 19c versions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex database migrations, including Exadata platforms and on-premises-to-cloud transitions.
• Configure and maintain advanced Oracle Data Guard environments with automated switchovers and failovers using the Data Guard Broker.
• Design and optimize enterprise backup architectures using RMAN, leveraging channel parallelism, SECTION SIZE, and Block Change Tracking.
• Plan and execute quarterly full-stack Exadata patching, covering Grid Infrastructure, Cell Software, and Firmware.
• Tune SQL performance and troubleshoot database issues such as deadlocks, waits, and contention using AWR and ADDM reports.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Strong PL/SQL development skills including stored procedures, packages, triggers, and views.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate, configuring Extracts and Replicats.
• Proficiency in writing Shell and Batch scripts for backups, schema refreshes, and maintenance jobs.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) monitoring and alerting.
• Knowledge of logical/physical database design and data modeling.
• Experience managing multiple databases across development, testing, and performance environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
