Description

You will manage Oracle database operations and lead large-scale re-platforming efforts to Exadata. You will own the stability, performance, and evolution of our data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support database re-platforming efforts to Exadata and assist in GoldenGate data replication setup.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries, indexes, memory usage, and tablespace configurations.
• Monitor database performance, including active sessions, long-running queries, and backups.
• Develop database objects such as schemas, tables, functions, views, and stored procedures.
• Coordinate with automation teams to schedule jobs across multiple databases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of logical and physical DBA experience with Oracle and Exadata.
• Extensive knowledge of ETL processing and GoldenGate.
• 5+ years of Data Governance experience and industry best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, DBever, TOAD, or Oracle SQL Developer.
• Experience working within JIRA workflows and Agile methodologies.
• Strong ability to present technical findings and recommendations to large groups.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Informix, SQL Server, Hadoop, MongoDB, or Microsoft Access.
• Knowledge of Informatica, MDM methodology, or Denodo Data Virtualization.
