Description

You will manage and support Oracle database systems across production, test, and development environments in Lansing, MI.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and implement physical and virtual databases.
• Perform patching and updates using GIRU, DBRU, OJVM, and JRE.
• Execute vulnerability remediation and implement security measures to safeguard data access.
• Monitor environments, write complex scripts, and perform performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Research, draft, and recommend database standards, policies, and space allocation guidelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Expertise with Oracle 19c or higher.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC.
• Proficiency with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Experience with patching protocols including GIRU, DBRU, OJVM, and JRE.
• Proven ability in vulnerability remediation.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux, vi, and Mobaxterm.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar ticketing systems.
• Experience with Tenable for vulnerability remediation.
