Description

You will manage and optimize Oracle database systems with a heavy focus on Golden Gate replication and automation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems, including upgrades and patches.
• Manage Golden Gate replication processes to ensure data integrity and high availability.
• Develop automation scripts for installation, configuration, and maintenance using Python and Ansible.
• Maintain Golden Gate and database code repositories using Bitbucket and Jenkins/CloudBees pipelines.
• Perform database tuning, performance monitoring, and provide 24/7 support for critical services.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, specifically focusing on Golden Gate replication environments.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for database task automation and system integration.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Bitbucket and Jenkins/CloudBees pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with Oracle 19c.
