Description

You will design, implement, and optimize relational and non-relational database systems across hybrid environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect resilient data storage and database solutions for on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Integrate storage platforms with relational and non-relational databases, leading technology selection for SAN, NAS, and object storage.
• Ensure data availability, integrity, and robust backup/recovery and disaster recovery strategies.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization across storage and database platforms.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in database architecture and administration.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC, Oracle ExaCC, Oracle GoldenGate, and Apache Cassandra.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with managed services: OCI Autonomous Database, AWS Aurora, Azure Cosmos DB, and GCP Bigtable.
• Experience migrating and managing databases across OCI, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Knowledge of enterprise storage systems such as NetApp, Dell EMC, or Pure Storage.
• Familiarity with secret management tools like Hashicorp or Oracle KeyVault.
• Understanding of CIS compliance standards for OS and databases.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
