Description

You will manage the maintenance, implementation, and performance of Oracle database environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement Oracle 12c and 19c databases, including patching and infrastructure security.
• Analyze database performance using AWR, Statspack, Tkprof, and DBMS_XPLAN to provide optimization recommendations.
• Manage database schema changes by reviewing and deploying DDL, DML, functions, procedures, and PL/SQL programs.
• Execute database builds and recoveries using exports, RMAN, or OS backups.
• Monitor server health, disk space usage, and instance performance to ensure uptime.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Oracle database administration.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 12c and 19c.
• Proficiency in RMAN backup and recovery procedures.
• Strong command of SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Expertise in analyzing AWR, AWRSQL, and ASH reports.
• Experience using Oracle client tools such as SQL*Developer and TOAD.
• Ability to work extensive out-of-hours periods when necessary.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
