Description

Manage complex database design, performance tuning, and incident resolution in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual and physical data models aligned with functional and compliance requirements.
• Implement database coding, unit testing, and component integration testing following established standards.
• Perform performance tuning and analyze production incidents to recommend and deploy bug fixes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain system, functional, and reference documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL.
• Experience working within Linux environments.
• Experience with Microstrategy.
• Ability to interpret business requirements into technical design solutions.
• Experience providing technical leadership on projects and coordinating with external programmers.
• Degree in any field.
