Description

Manage and optimize Oracle Exadata environments, handling database migrations and system health.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan Exadata deployments and configurations for x7, x9, and x10 platforms.
• Migrate databases onto and off of Exadata platforms.
• Perform platform health checks and tune Oracle Database performance on Exadata.
• Execute periodic patching and updates for DOMU, Grid Infrastructure, and system components.
• Configure and administer Active Data Guard (ADG) across multiple data centers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata (mandatory).
• Expertise in Exadata patching (GI, DB, DOMU).
• Experience with database migration workflows.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Rack ASM.
• Knowledge of Active Data Guard configuration and administration.
• Ability to manage Grid Infrastructure patching.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
