Description

Manage Oracle database infrastructure including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance. Ensure data integrity, availability, and security through rigorous backup, recovery, and access control procedures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems in production environments.
• Execute backup and recovery procedures to guarantee data availability and integrity.
• Manage user accounts, define access controls, and implement security best practices.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and apply optimization techniques to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL queries and improve overall database performance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Oracle DBA experience in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL development and debugging.
• Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Knowledge of data encryption standards and security protocols.
• Hands-on experience with database backup and restore operations.
• Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
