Description

You manage the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Oracle databases in a production environment. You own backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability, while implementing security best practices including user account management and data encryption. You troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and collaborate with developers to optimize queries and enhance overall database efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Oracle DBA experience in a production environment.
• Deep knowledge of database administration tasks and maintenance.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and bottleneck resolution.
• Experience with PL/SQL development and optimization.
• Strong understanding of data encryption and security best practices.
• Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
