Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage database backups using RMAN and RMAN Catalog.
• Implement and maintain Oracle Data Guard configurations for disaster recovery.
• Administer database security, including user access control and role management.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues and ensure system high availability.
• Support application interfaces and back-end integrations.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of dedicated Oracle DBA experience on Oracle Database 10g, 11g, and/or 12c.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for design, tuning, and debugging.
• Experience managing environments across Microsoft Windows and Linux OSs.
• Familiarity with Oracle OEM Grid Control, Emrep, and OMS.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Security Administration practices.
• Experience with Database backup utilities, specifically RMAN.
• Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Strong scripting skills in UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Data Modeling and tools like Erwin.
• Knowledge of ETL processes.
