Description

You will manage and maintain production and non-production Oracle databases on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and monitor physical data storage, access requests, and security administration.
• Perform backup and recovery operations and develop test plans for complex initiatives.
• Optimize database access and re-allocate resources for performance and cost efficiency.
• Monitor existing databases to implement preventive actions for high availability.
• Benchmark and profile queries to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle Database.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle RDS.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS components (EC2, S3, RDS, Security Groups, Route 53, VPC, DMS).
• 3+ years of experience using Jenkins, GitHub, and Terraform.
• In-depth knowledge of database concepts, designs, and architectures.
• Proficiency with SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex Oracle RDS implementations on AWS.
