Description

You will design, implement, and manage Exadata Cloud Service database solutions and architecture strategies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead database migrations and integrations across multicloud environments including Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Execute large-scale migrations to ExaCS, ExaCC, ATP, and ADW platforms.
• Manage Exadata X9 and X11M hardware, optimizing latency with PMem and RDMA algorithms.
• Design database consolidation strategies to reduce OPEX spending and provide technical leadership.
• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, security assessments, and mentor junior architects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Exadata ExaCS and ExaCC platforms.
• Deep knowledge of RAC, ASM, and Exadata performance tuning.
• Expertise in Data Guard and Physical/Logical DG Broker.
• Proficiency in database security including TDE, Audit Vault, and OKV.
• Experience with Linux and Solaris OS administration.
• Knowledge of virtualization, storage, ZFS, and ZDLRA.
• Practical experience with Oracle, SQL, and Azure Migration.
• Ability to manage high availability and scalability requirements.
