Description

You will design and implement Oracle RAC and Exadata architectures to ensure high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and documentation for Oracle RAC implementations and migrations.
• Lead capacity planning and provide recommendations for hardware and software requirements.
• Establish best practices for Oracle RAC, Exadata administration, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery.
• Perform complex troubleshooting of RAC-related issues and implement preventive measures.
• Lead database upgrade and migration projects while ensuring minimal downtime.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, with 5+ years hands-on Oracle RAC experience.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle RAC 12c/19c/21c architecture, Grid Infrastructure, and ASM.
• Strong experience with Oracle Data Guard and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Proven experience in performance tuning, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting (Bash, Python).
• Expert knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Strong understanding of storage systems, networking, and cluster technologies.
