Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL.

Support existing Java/Eclipse/WebSphere applications.

Optimize SQL queries and database performance.

Develop and maintain scripts using Shell and Perl.

Work on software development, testing, and production support

Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues

Collaborate with development and support teams.

Required Skills:

10+ years of IT experience

Strong Oracle Database development experience (PL/SQL, SQL Optimization)

Experience with C/C++ Development

Strong Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting experience

Experience with Perl scripting

Knowledge of Java, Eclipse, and WebSphere environments

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Experience providing production support and troubleshooting

Additional Requirements:

Must have a Green Card and have lived in the U.S. for at least 5 years.

Must be eligible to obtain a USPS Sensitive Clearance

Preferred Skills:

Software Quality Assurance (QA) experience

Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms

Excellent communication and documentation skills
