Description

You will design, code, and test Oracle-based applications within a Solaris or Linux environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop database solutions using Oracle PL/SQL, including packages, stored procedures, and functions.
• Create design documentation and review technical documents for accuracy and security compliance.
• Investigate and resolve assigned defects while providing Business Operations Level 2 support on call.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and project teams to implement and enhance relational database scripts and metadata.
• Participate in code walkthroughs and represent the Data Team in requirement and design sessions.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Oracle Database Developer.
• Proficiency in Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL, and Java.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and Perl scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle client toolsets including SQL*Plus and SQL*Loader.
• Familiarity with TOAD, SQL Navigator, or Oracle SQL Developer.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle performance tuning, Agile Scrum, or Oracle Application Express.
• Knowledge of XML/XSL/XSLT, LDAP, or other RDBMS like MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
