Description

You will manage Oracle database operations, serving as the primary contact for new initiatives and key responder for critical application outages.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage system backups and restorations using RMAN and logical exports.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery preparation, testing, and Data Guard troubleshooting.
• Perform database tuning, performance monitoring, and execution plan analysis.
• Execute patch management for single-node and RAC (2 or 3 nodes) environments.
• Maintain documentation including SOPs, root cause analysis, and change assessments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA or in a similar role.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) 12c, 19c, or 21c certification.
• Extensive experience with Oracle versions 10g through 19c.
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle RAC and ASM (Active/Passive and Active-Active clusters).
• Proven experience managing heavy databases exceeding 100+ TB using Filesystem and ASM.
• Proficiency in Unix environments, including Linux, Solaris, and AIX.
• Deep understanding of RMAN, point-in-time recovery, and controlfile restoration.
• Knowledge of physical database design, partitioning, and indexing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Data Guard and archive file restoration for DR synchronization.
• Ability to perform application-level tuning and performance monitoring.
