Description

Architect and manage Oracle database environments, including cloud migrations, high availability configurations, and performance optimization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute Core Oracle DBA tasks with expertise in CDB and PDB migrations.
• Manage GoldenGate Service on Cloud, including tuning and troubleshooting cross-database replication.
• Design and maintain on-premises databases and standby database configurations.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and automate deployments via CI/CD tools.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, backup, and recovery scenarios for Oracle and SQL Server.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Azure Cloud, Azure SQL, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong experience with Oracle and SQL Server database administration.
• Hands-on knowledge of GoldenGate for replication and synchronization.
• Scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation and OS command execution.
• Understanding of VPCs, security groups, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
• Experience with physical database design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with database monitoring tools and resource management.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of database administrator experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
